Cut across different departments. Two hundred (200) students were randomly selected from the population to make the sample. Descriptive survey design was used for the study. The instrument used in data collection was self constructed questionnaire tittle"Impact of software on the students performances in mathematics questionnaire "(Isspmq). Descriptive statistic of mean and standard deviation were used to analyzed the data collected from the questionnaire. To ensure the validity of the instrument the researcher submitted the questionnaire to supervisor and two other senior lecturer in the department of science education for comment and improvement. The reliability coefficient was established as 0.78 using test-retest method.
