Abstract

Here’s the **abstract** from your project titled *“Advertising and Sales Promotion of Plantain Products in Boki Local Government Area.”* --- ### **Abstract** This study examined **advertising and sales promotion of plantain products in Boki Local Government Area**. The research aimed to determine how advertising and sales promotion can help plantain marketers increase sales and assess the effects of such campaigns. Using questionnaires as the main instrument of data collection, information was gathered from plantain farmers, sellers, and marketers across major markets in Boki. Data were analyzed using simple frequency and percentage methods. The findings revealed that most respondents believe advertising and sales promotion stimulate demand for plantain products, increase awareness, and improve profitability. The study recommended that plantain farmers should adopt modern advertising platforms such as social media rather than relying solely on outdoor displays. It also suggested that the Cross River State government should improve road infrastructure to facilitate transportation of harvested products from rural communities to markets.
