Abstract

This research study examined the empirical link between employee engagement and organizational resilience of selected table water manufacturing firms in Bayelsa State. The crosssectional survey design was adopted for the study, and relevant data were collected through a structured questionnaire. The respondents to the questionnaire comprised 40 managerial staff of 10 table water companies in Bayelsa Slate. Data collected were analyzed using descriptive and inferential (Spearman Rank Order Correlation Coefficient) statistical tools with the aid of the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) Version 27. The study found that all three dimensions of employee engagement are significantly related to the two measures of organizational resilience as used in the study. Given these findings, it was concluded that employee engagement is significantly related to organizational resilience in the studied table water companies. Based on the findings and conclusion made, it was recommended among others that employees should be encouraged to be more vigorous, dedicated and absorbed in their tasks for improved organizational resilience
