Abstract

This project "Online SMS Examination Timetable Alert System", focuses on the design and implementation of an online SMS examination timetable system, developed to enhance communication and streamline scheduling for academic institutions. The system is built using HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript as the primary programming languages, with MySQL serving as the database to manage user data, schedules, and notifications. The development environment utilized is Visual Studio Code, which supports efficient coding and debugging. To send timely exam alerts, the system integrates with the SmartSMS API gateway, allowing automated, scheduled notifications to be sent directly to users' mobile devices. This seamless combination of tools provides students with real-time, SMS-based timetable updates, reducing scheduling conflicts and improving overall user engagement and institutional efficiency.
