Abstract

The increasing need for accurate, real-time environmental data has led to the development of innovative, cost-effective weather monitoring solutions. This project presents the design and implementation of an IoT-based weather monitoring system aimed at providing continuous and reliable tracking of key atmospheric conditions. The system integrates the ESP32 microcontroller with a suite of calibrated sensors to measure parameters such as temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. Data collected by the sensors is transmitted wirelessly to a cloud-based platform, ThingSpeak, for real-time analysis and visualization. The project demonstrates the potential for low-cost and scalable weather monitoring stations in various sectors, including agriculture, aviation, and environmental management. It also highlights areas for further improvement, such as enhanced user interfaces, machine learning-based forecasting, and integration into broader environmental data networks.
