Abstract

ABSTRACT This research project is based on extraction of oil from neem tree seed. A case on Azadirachta indica. In this research project, a lot of things have been discussed on introduction, background, aim and objective, rationale, literature review and various uses of neem oil. Leaves, stem and root and methodology. Under this methodology, local extraction procedure were the method used for the extraction but there are various methods of extraction in order to get this neem oil e.g mechanical pressing and solvent extraction method. It is therefore, suggested that local extraction procedure (method) is not simple method and does not yield high amount of oil but the quality obtained is good and importance seen like medicinal oil for human being.
