Using Krejcie and Morgan (1970) sampling techniques, eighty-six (86) secretaries were sampled from The Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti, and Ekiti State University. Descriptive and inferential statistics used. The Pearson moment correlation coefficient formula was used to analyze the hypotheses. The major findings of the study shows that the level of motivational factors available for secretaries in tertiary institutions is high. The study revealed that motivation has a positive impact on job efficiency, particularly in task completion, time management, and organizational skills, with motivated secretaries demonstrating increased job efficiency.
