SIGNIFICANT RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN QUALITY SUPERVISION AND ENGLISH TEACHER’S PERFORMANCE IN SOME SELECTED PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOLS OF KATAGUM LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA BAUCHI STATE

This study is to investigated the significant relationship between quality supervision 0f English teachers in public secondary schools Katagum Local Government Area Bauchi State. History of supervision can be traced right to the time of creation our homes business sectors employers and other vocational sectors. To effectively investigate the significant relationship between quality supervision of English teachers performance in public secondary schools Katagum Local Government Area Bauchi State a structured questionnaire was designed in two major sections the first section composed of the demographic characteristic of the respondents who were mainly teachers of the selected schools. The other section consists of questions on significant relationship between quality supervision of English teachers performance in public secondary schools. The questionnaire was validated and pilot tested for reliability with its reliability established the tested instrument was then administered to some selected teachers through a stratified random sampling procedure across the seven school in the area of study structured in five chapters. Chapter One: gave the background of the study, statement of the problems, objectives of thestudy, research question, and the significant of the study, the scope and limitations of the study, were given within the chapter. Chapter Two: consisted of the review of the related literatures to the study. In chapter Three: the methodologies used in the study were stated. However, chapter Four: is made up of statistical analysis and interpretation of the findings from the analyzed data presented. The conclusives that: Education is a large industry and it is everybody's business. In line with this statement, the impact of quality supervision on teachers performance is important, because the society is fast growing technological, political, economically, confirm the facts that Education needs urgent attention. among recommendation is obvious fact that; qualified English teachers should be employed by Bauchi state ministry of Education for quality service in public secondary schools.
