SMART MULTIFACTOR CBT SYSTEM ATTENDANCE (FINGURE & FACIAL RECOGNITION)
Abstract
Abstract
The increasing reliance on Learning Management Systems (LMS) in education and corporate
training highlights the need for effective, user-friendly digital learning solutions. LMS platforms
facilitate course management, student engagement, and performance tracking, making them
essential for modern learning environments. However, challenges such as low user engagement,
system integration issues, and security concerns hinder their effectiveness. This study aims to
develop a customized LMS portal that enhances usability, engagement, performance tracking,
and security for students and educators. The research focuses on addressing limitations in
existing LMS platforms by incorporating adaptive learning features, real-time analytics, and
intuitive navigation. A comprehensive review of LMS functionalities, benefits, and challenges
was conducted, along with an analysis of existing platforms such as Moodle, Blackboard, and
Google Classroom. The study also examines the impact of LMS on student engagement and
academic performance across different disciplines. The research identifies that while LMS
platforms improve learning accessibility and assessment efficiency, issues such as digital literacy
gaps, resistance to change, and system performance limitations affect adoption rates. Effective
LMS design should include robust communication tools, interactive learning resources, and
advanced analytics for tracking student progress. The study concludes that a well-designed LMS
enhances the teaching and learning experience, improves student performance tracking, and
fosters collaboration. However, overcoming implementation challenges requires institutional
support, proper training, and ongoing system optimization. Educational institutions should invest
in LMS solutions with customizable features, prioritize user training, and enhance security
measures. Future research should explore mobile LMS applications and the integration of
artificial intelligence for personalized learning experiences.
