APPRAISAL ON THE EFFECTS OF FAMILY PLANNING ON WOMEN OF CHILD BEARING AGE IN OFFA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA, OF KWARA STATE
Abstract
This study is on the effects of family planning among women of child bearing age in offa local government Area of kwara state. The objective of the study was to identify the major effect of family planning among of child age in offa local government Area Kwara State. The research design was basically a descriptive methodology in which information were collected from woman in Offa Local Government Area Kwara State. However 100 people were selected using stratified random sample method. A self constructed questionnaire was used to collect data. The data collected ware presented and analyzed with proper interpretation in 2 section A & B. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive statistical method. From the data analysis, it was observed that 75% of the respondent agreed that family planning is not good and 25% disagree. Conclusively, there are many effects of family planning on woman of child bearing age which can leads to heavy bleeding, changes in weight, Headache, Dizziness, Cardiovascular impact e.t.c. Recommendation were given and enlighten the community on the importance and effect of family planning and encourage mother's to take part in family planning.
