COMPARATIVE ASSESSMENT OF GRAVIMETRIC AND POTENTIO-DYNAMIC POLARIZATION METHODS OF CORRODED -STEEL REINFORCED CONCRETE BEAMS
Abstract
The research on the comparative assessment of gravimetric and potentio-dynamic polarization methods of corroded-steel reinforced concrete beams is legitimize by its potential to address critical infrastructure challenges, inform decision-making, advance knowledge, support sustainable development goals, foster collaboration, and generate economic benefits by investigating and comparing gravimetric and potentio-dynamic polarization methods, this research contributes to advancing knowledge in corrosion science and engineering. The findings may uncover new insights, identify areas for further research, and stimulate innovation in corrosion assessment techniques and materials. Effective corrosion management can result in significant cost savings by minimizing the need for extensive repairs, prolonging the service life of infrastructure assets, and reducing the risk of unexpected failures. This research contributes to economic prosperity by optimizing resource allocation and maximizing the return on investment in infrastructure maintenance.
