Abstract

This project focuses on the design and implementation of an integrated Point of Sales (POS) management system tailored for local mini and supermarkets. The system addresses critical issues such as inventory mismanagement, inefficient sales transactions, and lack of real-time sales analytics. The solution offers a streamlined platform that manages sales transactions, tracks inventory in real-time, and generates detailed sales reports. By automating key retail functions, the system reduces manual errors, enhances customer satisfaction through faster checkout times, and provides business owners with actionable insights for decision-making. The POS system was developed using a client-server architecture and integrates essential features such as user management, payment processing, and real-time inventory tracking. Through this solution, local retailers can improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and better compete in the retail space.
