ENERGY USE ASSESSMENT IN AN INDUSTRY
Abstract
This study assesses energy use patterns in an industrial setting with the aim of identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization. The research evaluates different forms of energy consumption, including electricity and fossil fuels, across major production units. Data were collected using energy audits, observation, and structured records of consumption. The findings reveal significant energy losses due to outdated equipment, poor maintenance practices, and lack of energy management policies. The study concludes that implementing energy-efficient technologies and proper monitoring systems can significantly reduce energy costs and environmental impact.
