Library anxiety, characterized by feelings of fear, confusion, or intimidation when using library resources, has been identified as a barrier to effective learning. The study adopts a survey research design, using structured questionnaires to collect data from selected students. Descriptive and inferential statistical methods were employed to analyze the data. Findings reveal that a significant proportion of students experience moderate to high levels of library anxiety, which negatively affects their frequency of library use, access to academic resources, and overall academic performance. Factors contributing to library anxiety include lack of library orientation, inadequate information literacy skills, and difficulty navigating library systems. The study concludes that reducing library anxiety can enhance students’ academic success. It recommends improved library orientation programs, user-friendly library systems, and increased support from library staff.
