DESIGN AND IMPLEMETATION OF AN ONLINE NEWS FEED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (A CASE STUDY OF SEE AHEAD MEDIA)
Abstract
People out there, who are familiar with journalism will better appreciate how difficult it is to produce or developed well edited news. The aim of this project is Designing and implementing an online News Feed Management System, distinguish itself as it provides solution to the teaming problems facing today’ journalist as far as news feed is concerned. In developing the system, we used various web technologies: Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Cascaded Style Sheet (CSS), JavaScript, Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) and MySQL database. We adopted the waterfall software development methodology in the design. The new system was tested and confirmed to function well an Online News Feed Management System, hence; we achieved the objectives of this study. The concept of this project is divided into five (5) chapters which gave an ample opportunity for the study of the existing system in order to be able to design a new system that is far better than the former system.
