IMPACT OF PERFORMANCE EVALUATION ON EMPLOYEES' PRODUCTIVITY AND EFFICIENCY

The purpose of the productivity in an organization, to examine how performance evaluation and study was to identify how performance evaluation improves employee emplovee morale in an organization works. In carrying out this research work, three research questions were asked and three hypotheses were formulated and analyzed using tables, percentages and the chi-square (X) statistical tool The population size was 420 while the sample size was 200. The methodology adopted was the survey design method. The primary data was collected from questionnaire, personal interview and library research. The statistical analysis, chi-square (X²) was used to test data on expected set of level significance of 0.05. In the findings, it was observed that performance evaluation improves employee productivity in an organization. Performance evaluation system helps in enhancing organizational performance and product cost and there was a relationship existing between an effective performance evaluation and employee morale in an organization. The researcher recommended that performance evaluation method in the organization should be reviewed from time to time in order to achieve organizational goals and also be in line with the global trend in work evaluation.
