Abstract

The ever-increasing demand for energy, coupled with the depletion of conventional energy sources and environmental concerns associated with their use, presents a significant global challenge. A substantial amount of kinetic energy is dissipated and wasted as heat and vibrations when vehicles pass over speed breakers. This untapped energy represents a lost opportunity for sustainable power generation. The problem lies in effectively harnessing this wasted mechanical energy and converting it into usable electrical energy to supplement existing power grids and reduce reliance on non- renewable resources. Current methods of power generation are often insufficient to meet the growing energy needs, leading to power shortages and economic inefficiencies, particularly in developing nations. Therefore, there is a critical need for innovative and efficient methods to capture and convert this kinetic energy into electricity.
