Abstract

Birds and insects provide many ecosystem services such as pollination, pest control and nutrient cycling and these services are important to humans and the immediate environment. Transect was used for direct observation of birds and insects visits to flowers when taking nectar for possible pollination. The movement and deposition of seeds by birds was also monitored in order to establish seed dispersal as an ecosystem service. The data collected was entered in Microsoft Excel and analyzed using descriptive
