CONSTRUCTION OF A WEATHER STATION
Abstract
This project focuses on the design and construction of a weather station that measures temperature
and humidity using an ESP8266 microcontroller and a DHT11 sensor. The system collects
environmental data and transits it through Wi-Fi to an online cloud platform (ThingSpeak) for
monitoring and storage. The weather station was tested to ensure that it accurately senses and
uploads temperature and humidity readings. The result obtained shows that the system can
successfully monitor environmental conditions in real time. This project demonstrates a simple
and cost-effective method of using Internet of Things (IoT) technology for weather monitoring.
