INVESTIGATION ON CYBER SECURITY THREAT AND PREVENTION PROCEDURES
Abstract
Abstract
In an increasingly digital landscape, cybersecurity has emerged as a critical concern for organizations across all sectors. This study investigates the current state of cybersecurity training practices, organizational culture, and resource allocation within various companies. Through a mixed-methods approach that includes surveys and semi-structured interviews with employees and management, the research reveals significant insights into employee knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding cybersecurity. Findings indicate that while many organizations provide cybersecurity training, the effectiveness and engagement levels of these programs vary widely. Additionally, a strong cybersecurity culture, driven by leadership commitment and ongoing communication, is essential for fostering employee accountability and vigilance. Challenges such as resource constraints and maintaining training engagement are prevalent, underscoring the need for organizations to invest strategically in cybersecurity initiatives. Based on the findings, practical recommendations are offered, including the establishment of robust training programs, cross-departmental collaboration, and the integration of cybersecurity considerations into organizational strategic planning. This research contributes to the understanding of how organizations can enhance their cybersecurity posture through informed training and cultural initiatives.
