Abstract

This project addressed the growing need for continuous and remote health monitoring by designing and constructing a wireless IoT-based body temperature system. The system comprises a wearable sensor node, utilizing a high-accuracy LM35 temperature sensor, and a central monitoring unit, based on an Arduino Nano microcontroller, for data acquisition, processing, and transmission. A HC-05 Bluetooth module facilitated wireless communication, enabling real-time data transmission to a cloud platform (ThingSpeak) for storage and visualization.Testing demonstrated the system's efficacy. The LM35 sensor provided accurate temperature readings within ±0.5°C of a calibrated reference thermometer. The Bluetooth communication proved reliable within the specified range, ensuring consistent data transmission to the ThingSpeak platform. Furthermore, the system exhibited low power consumption, extending the operational lifespan of the wearable device. This successful implementation of the wireless IoT-based body temperature monitoring system demonstrates its potential for enhancing personal health management and enabling early detection of potential health issues through continuous and remote temperature monitoring. The project highlights the practical application of IoT in healthcare, contributing to improved patient care and efficient health monitoring.
