Abstract

This research work centers on the review of hydrocarbon reservoir using well log as a method of exploration, the research satisfied the following objectives, explaining how to do the following, how to identify the possible reservoir sand body, Method of data collection, how to evaluate petrophysical properties of a reservoir, Determination of porosity and permeability and the application of well log, emphasizing its significance in oil and gas exploration assessments. Additionally, the study examines the field procedures and materials essential for conducting effective well log survey method. Application of well log survey method was also discussed. This synthesis of knowledge serves as a valuable resource for researchers and practitioners in the field of oil and gas exploration.
