Abstract

The increasing demand for renewable energy sources has led to significant advancements in solar energy technologies, particularly in solar charge control systems. This research paper presents the design and construction of a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) solar charge control system aimed at optimizing the charging process of solar batteries. The PWM technique is employed to regulate the voltage and current from solar panels to batteries, enhancing efficiency and prolonging battery life. The study outlines the theoretical framework, design considerations, and practical implementation of the PWM solar charge controller. Results indicate that the PWM system effectively maintains optimal charging conditions, reduces energy losses, and improves overall system performance. The findings contribute to the understanding of solar charge control technologies and provide a foundation for future developments in renewable energy systems.
