DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A DIGITAL CLOCK WITH TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY DISPLAY USING MICROCONTROLLER
Abstract
This project presents the design and construction of a digital clock integrated with temperature and humidity display using a PIC microcontroller. The system uses a Real-Time Clock (DS3231) for accurate timekeeping and sensors such as DHT11/DHT22 for environmental monitoring. The PIC16F877A microcontroller processes sensor readings and controls the display unit. The device provides a compact, reliable solution for applications requiring both time and environmental data. The project demonstrates the use of embedded systems in multifunctional device design, and recommends upgrades including wireless communication and improved user interface for future enhancement.
