DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A NATIONAL JOB PORTAL
Abstract
This project aimed to design and implement a national job portal website to facilitate efficient job searching and recruitment processes. The objectives were to create a user-friendly platform for job seekers to search and apply for jobs, and for employers to post job vacancies and manage applications. The methodology followed a structured development approach, utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the front-end, and PHP with MySQL for the back-end. Key features included job search functionality, resume uploading, application tracking, and an employer dashboard. The website was tested for usability and performance, yielding positive results. The findings indicated that the platform significantly improved the job search experience for users and streamlined the recruitment process for employers. The designed job portal provides an effective solution for connecting job seekers with potential employers, enhancing the overall efficiency of the job market. The project demonstrates the potential of web-based technologies in transforming traditional job search and recruitment processes.
