DEVELOPEMENT OF A STUDENT ATTENDANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING QR CODE TECHNOLOGY
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The Student Attendance Management System aims to streamline and automate the attendance process in educational institutions by utilizing QR code technology. This system integrates GPS and IMEI validation to prevent proxy attendance and ensure that only registered students are marked present. The system allows for easy attendance tracking, providing real-time updates to both instructors and administrators. This project explores the development of this system, focusing on its design, implementation, and the integration of security features to improve accuracy and reduce the likelihood of fraud. The findings from this study suggest that the system enhances the efficiency of attendance management and provides an effective solution to the challenges faced by manual systems.
