Abstract
ABSTRACT
The study investigated the causes, effect and prevention of malnutrition among the children of 0-7 years in Ado Local Government Area of Ekiti State. Malnutrition can be frustrating being an umbrella term that includes over-nutrition (an excess of food energy) under-nutrients such as protein), and micronutrient deficiencies (such as iron, vitamin A or iodine). In conclusion, suggestions were made base on the findings. Malnutrition has got its root cause from ignorance and poverty. Poverty alleviation is an area the government should show more interest in. finally no doubt about that these project will help increase mother’s awareness about the causes, effect and prevention of malnutrition in Ado Local Government Area, Ekiti State.
