Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of the research was to carryout physico-chemical analysis on borehole water samples within Offa township. The water samples were collected from 6 places and were labeled and taken to the lab for analysis. All the parameters of dissolve oxygen, pH, temperature, total suspended solid, total dissolve solid, electrical conductivity, chemical oxygen demand and biological oxygen demand were determined. Also, heavy metal present was determined. The result showed all the physico-chemical parameters to within desired range recommended by world health organization (WHO) and thus suitable for drinking, domestic and agricultural uses.
