FRAMEWORK FOR FINDING SOFTWARE VULNERABILITIES IN SDN CONTROLLER
Abstract
Software-Defined Networking (SDN) controllers are critical components of modern network
architectures, enabling centralized management and programmability. However, their
complexity and software-based nature introduce significant security risks. This framework
proposes a comprehensive approach to identifying software vulnerabilities in SDN controllers,
leveraging static analysis, dynamic analysis, and threat modeling. By integrating automated
tools and secure coding practices, this framework aims to enhance the security and resilience of
SDN controllers, reducing the risk of potential vulnerabilities and ensuring the integrity of SDN
based networks. The framework's effectiveness is demonstrated through its ability to detect and
mitigate vulnerabilities, providing a robust security solution for SDN controllers.
