STYLISTIC ANALYSIS OF THE LYRICS OF SELECTED SONGS BY REMA
Abstract
This work presents a Stylistic analysis of the lyrics of selected songs by Rema: "Beamer (Bad Boys)" and "Bounce". Thus, the study explores how linguistic elements at the phonological, lexical, syntactic, and semantic levels shape meaning and reception. The study aims to analyze Rema's songs using a Stylistic approach to uncover how linguistic and artistic elements contribute to meaning. The methodology employed a qualitative research design. The primary data for this research are the official lyrics of Beamer (Bad Boys) and Bounce. The data were analyzed using Stylistic and linguistic frameworks. This study provides insights into the linguistic techniques and Stylistic Devices employed by Rema, such as code-switching and repetition, which contribute to the songs' artistic depth and emotional appeal
