ABSTRACT
This project work is on construction and testing of automatic power changeover to ensure constant supply to the main circuit with minimal delay during the transfer process. Power instability in general does not promote development in public and private sector. Automatic Power Changeover (APC) automatically transfers load from the main supply to an alternative source (such as a generator) during outages, and revert back once mains power is restored without human interference. The construction incorporates both the power connection circuit and the control circuit. The main components include contactors, relays, and associated control devices.
