Abstract

Although a number of studies have recognized the relationship between human development and organizational performance, the mechanism through which it leads to organizational performance remains unexplored. Human development is the process of enhancing the skills, knowledge, and well-being of employees in an organization. Organizational performance is the measure of how well an organization achieves its goals and objectives. This project aims to examine the effect of human development on organizational performance, using Access Bank PLC as a case study. Access Bank PLC is a leading bank in Nigeria that offers personal and corporate banking services, and has a sustainable finance framework. The project will collect and analyze data from the bank’s branches in Owo, Ondo State. The project will also review the literature on human development and organizational performance, and identify the best practices and challenges in this area. The project will contribute to the existing knowledge on the relationship between human development and organizational performance, and provide recommendations for improving the bank’s human capital and organizational outcomes.
