COMPUTERIZATION OF STATE INDEPENDENCE ELECTORAL COMMISSION RESULT COLLATION SYSTEMCASE STUDY: ADAMAWA STATE INDEPENDENCE ELECTORAL COMMISSION
Abstract
This project is a computerized election result collation system for Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC). The current manual collation process causes delays, errors, and reduces public trust in local government elections. By developing a secure web-based platform for electronic transmission of results, this project aims to improve the speed, accuracy, and transparency of election outcomes. The system also includes a public results portal to enable real-time tracking by stakeholders. Evaluation using past election data demonstrates the potential for this technology to enhance electoral integrity and foster greater public confidence in Adamawa State’s electoral process.
