Abstract

Infrastructure mapping plays a vital role in urban planning, environmental management, and sustainable development. This study presents the production of an infrastructural map of part of Kaduna North Central, specifically the eastern section from Stadium Roundabout along Junction Road, bounded by Kigo Road and extending to Katsina Road Roundabout in Kaduna State. The mapping exercise involved field data collection, identification of infrastructural features, and map compilation using appropriate cartographic techniques. Major infrastructures mapped include road networks, drainage systems, public utilities, buildings, and landmarks. The resulting infrastructural map provides a reliable spatial representation of the study area and serves as a useful tool for planners, government agencies, and other stakeholders involved in urban development and infrastructure management.
