Abstract

ABSTRACT An ancient and effective method of extraction called cold-pressed extract was used to extract the oils from ginger and almonds. The refractive index of ginger oil and almond oil, with respective values of 1.45 and 1.42, were found to be high. According to analysis, the pH values of almond oil and ginger oil were 7.16 and 5.74, respectively. Subsequent examination of the bacterium counts in almond and ginger oils revealed values of 9.18×107cfu/ml and 2.52×106cfu/ml, respectively. This demonstrates the oil's purity and high fatty acid content, which have helped it stand out in the cosmetics sector.
