Abstract
This project presents the design and construction of a reinforced concrete drainage system aimed at improving stormwater management in urban areas. The study examines the causes of poor drainage, including inadequate design, poor construction practices, and lack of maintenance. Materials such as cement, aggregates, and reinforcement bars were used in the construction process. Standard engineering design principles were applied to ensure durability and efficiency. The results indicate that properly designed drainage systems significantly reduce flooding and environmental hazards. Recommendations were made for improved planning, construction supervision, and maintenance practices.
