COLOR MATCHING FOR HAIR DYE: DEVELOPING AN ALGORITHM TO SUGGEST HAIR DYE COLOR
Abstract
This project focuses on the design and development of an inventory management system for efficient record-keeping of the day-to-day activities of an industry or institution. The system integrates several subsystems, including a web-based gateway for managing supply and sales operations, documenting inventory transactions, and storing data securely in a relational database. The methodology adopted involves system analysis and design using the waterfall model, ensuring structured phases from requirement gathering to testing and deployment. The system will be implemented using PHP and MySQL for the backend, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend interface, and tested for performance, reliability, and scalability. The primary objective is to maintain optimal stock levels, preventing both overstocking and understocking, while improving operational efficiency and financial control through accurate real-time data management.
