Abstract

The design and construction of a 25A, 12V/24V high-frequency battery charger is a crucial innovation in the field of power electronics, aimed at providing efficient and compact charging solutions for various types of batteries. It's objective is to achieve high efficiency, compact size, and versatile performance with advanced features. The charger utilizes high-frequency switching technology, which significantly reduces the size and weight of the transformer compared to conventional low-frequency chargers. By using high-frequency switching devices, the design achieves greater power conversion efficiency and faster charging times. The circuit includes a power factor correction (PFC) stage to improve the input current waveform, reducing harmonic distortion and improving overall efficiency. The output is regulated through a feedback loop, ensuring that the voltage and current remain within the required limits for safe and optimal battery charging. The 25A 12V/24V high-frequency battery charger offers an efficient, reliable, and compact solution for a wide range of charging applications, ensuring safety, fast charging, and extended battery life.
