Abstract

This study investigated the hepatic and immune responses of West African Dwarf rams fed diet containing varying levels of Biocharcoal. A total of fifteen (15) West African Dwarf rams were randomly allotted to five treatment groups, receiving a basal diet (Megathyrus maximus) and concentrates supplemented with varying levels of Biocharcoal: 0% (T1), 0.5% (T2), 1.0% (T3), 1.5% (T4), and 2.0% (T5). The trial was conducted over a 16-week period. Serum biochemical indices, hepatic enzyme activity, oxidative stress markers, and immune parameters were assessed. A completely randomized design was used for this study. The results showed that biocharcoal inclusion significantly influenced (p
