Farm weeds in Kwatarkwashi farm area were investigated in this study. An area of 50cm2
was demarcated in each of the four study site using ranging poles. One meter square(1m2.) quadrant was randomly thrown repeatedly up to ten times in each of the study site. The numbers of weed species that occur in each quadrant were separated. 10 species of weed were identified from seven different families which are: Poacae, Legumnosea, Capparaceae, Liliaceae, Amarantheceae, Aizoceae and Fabaceae. The survey of the farmers shows that two types of weed management are used in the areas which are manual and chemical and the type of chemical used are classic, force up and bush fire and the most efficient chemical use is the force up. The frequency distribution shows that Sphenostylisstenocarpa has the highest frequency in the entire four crops.
