Abstract

This study aims to assess the compliance level of industrial workers with COVID-19 safety guidelines. The research utilized a survey questionnaire to collect data from a sample of industrial workers in different sectors, including manufacturing, construction, and transportation. The questionnaire was designed to evaluate the workers' understanding of COVID-19 and their compliance with safety protocols such as wearing masks, maintaining physical distancing, and sanitizing hands and surfaces. The results of the study showed that while most industrial workers were aware of COVID-19 and its associated risks, their compliance with safety guidelines was inadequate. Many workers reported not consistently wearing masks or maintaining physical distancing, and some even believed that the pandemic was a hoax. The study also found that workers who received regular COVID-19 safety training were more likely to comply with safety protocols. The findings of this study have significant implications for policymakers, employers, and employees in the industrial sector. It highlights the need for regular COVID-19 safety training and stricter enforcement of safety guidelines to minimize the spread of the virus in the workplace. The study also emphasizes the importance of promoting awareness and debunking misinformation about the pandemic to ensure a safer work environment. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused significant disruptions in various sectors of the global economy
