THE IMPACT OF STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT STAGES ON ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research investigates the intricate relationship between strategic management and
organizational performance through a comprehensive analysis of key components. Four primary
objectives guided the study: environmental analysis, strategy formulation, strategy
implementation, and strategy evaluation. The findings reveal that environmental analysis is a
common practice among organizations, with a significant emphasis on identifying new growth
opportunities. In strategy formulation, organizations generally display confidence in their
processes and diligently align objectives with available resources. Effective strategy
implementation is a priority, with well-defined roles and responsibilities being a hallmark of
success. Moreover, strategy evaluation emerges as a critical feedback mechanism, with regular
evaluations and the use of key performance indicators leading to adjustments that positively
impact organizational performance. In conclusion, this research underscores the vital role of
holistic strategic management practices in navigating the complexities of today's business
environment. Organizations that excel in environmental analysis, formulation, implementation,
and evaluation are better positioned to achieve superior performance and long-term success. The
study provides a roadmap for organizations to enhance their strategic management processes and
attain improved performance amidst a constantly evolving business landscape
