CONFIDENTIALITY IN HEALTH INFORMATION FOR QUALITY HEALTHCARE IMPROVEMENT IN SPECIALIST HOSPITAL GOMBE STATE
Abstract
This research study was carried out in Gombe state on confidentiality in the improvement for quality of health care improvement. Questionnaires were used as method of data collection and the data analysis shows and find out the degree of confidentiality of patient health information and its awareness in specialist hospital Gombe. The study conclusion reveals that there is health information system in the hospital that led to lack of confidentiality of health records. Finally, the researcher recommendation was to draw their attention of government to improve their health record services and employ train and qualified health records officers in their facilities (Hospital)
