Abstract

This study investigates the impact of language laboratories on improving oral English teaching and learning in secondary schools. It highlights how the use of audio-visual tools, pronunciation drills, recordings, and interactive activities enhances students’ listening and speaking skills. Findings show that language laboratories provide better exposure, accuracy, and learner engagement compared to traditional methods. The study concludes that language labs significantly improve oral proficiency and recommends wider adoption in schools.
