DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN EMPLOYEE DATA MINING INFORMATION SYSTEM USING KABBA BUNU LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA AS A CASE STUDY
Abstract
This research focuses on the design and implementation of an Employee Data Mining Information System, using Kabba Bunu Local Government Area as a case study. Effective employee performance evaluation is crucial for organizational success, as it allows management to assess strengths, identify areas for improvement, and enhance productivity.
Data mining plays a key role in extracting valuable insights from employee performance records, enabling organizations to make informed decisions. This study explores the application of data mining techniques in human resource management, specifically for evaluating employee performance based on various criteria.
The system was developed using Visual Basic 6.0, which provides a user-friendly interface for efficient data processing and analysis. The implemented system facilitates automated employee performance tracking, allowing the local government administration toidentify top-performing employees, recommend training programs, and enhance workforce efficiency. This research highlights the importance of technology-driven performance evaluation and demonstrates how data mining techniques can transform traditional HR management systems into intelligent, data-driven decision-making tools.
