Abstract

This project focuses on the design and implementation of an online doctors booking system for Federal Medical Center, Gusau. The system addresses the limitations of the existing manual appointment process, which often results in delays, congestion, and patients missing specialist doctors. The online platform enables patients to register, view available doctors, check duty schedules, and book appointments remotely. The system was developed using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It provides a user-friendly interface, reduces human errors, improves accessibility, and enhances the efficiency of hospital operations. The study demonstrates that integrating ICT into healthcare management significantly enhances service delivery and convenience for both patients and medical personnel.
