Abstract

This project presents the design and construction of a solar-powered WiFi-based electronic notice board, aimed at delivering a cost-effective, eco-friendly, and efficient solution for real-time information display in educational, corporate, and public environments. The objective is to reduce dependence on the national grid while ensuring continuous operation. The system uses a solar panel, charge controller, and battery for power, with an automatic AC/DC switch for backup during low solar availability. LED or dot matrix display is used, and updates are managed remotely via Wi-Fi for user convenience. Testing showed stable and reliable performance, with uninterrupted display operation in both solar and AC modes. Wireless updates were successfully performed within network range, demonstrating the system’s effectiveness. In summary, the system allows easy real-time updates through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, lowers energy expenses, and minimizes reliance on traditional power sources, ensuring dependable performance in different environments for effective information delivery.
