DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF GAS LEAKAGE MONITORING DEVICE FOR HOME USE
Abstract
This study focuses on the design and construction of a gas leakage monitoring device intended for domestic use. The project involves the development of an electronic system that can detect the presence of combustible gases commonly used in homes, particularly liquefied petroleum gas used for cooking. The system will consist of a gas sensor that senses gas concentration, an electronic circuit that processes the sensor signal, and an alarm system that notifies users when gas leakage is detected.
The scope of the study also includes the testing and evaluation of the developed system to ensure that it functions properly. The project will mainly concentrate on the hardware design and basic operational logic of the monitoring device. However, the study is limited to the development of a simple and affordable gas detection system suitable for household environments and does not cover advanced industrial monitoring systems or large-scale gas detection technologies.
