Abstract

ABSTRACT The Smart Waste Bin (SWB) is a novel technology designed to revolutionize waste management systems. This system employs sensors and real-time data analysis to optimize waste collection, reduce operational costs, and minimize environmental impact. This research delves into the development and application of SWB technology, addressing the issues faced by traditional waste management methods and exploring its potential benefits for communities and the environment. These bins are equipped with sensors that monitor their fill levels and operational status in real time. The data collected from SWBs is analyzed to optimize waste collection routes, reduce operational costs, and minimize the environmental impact of waste management practices. This research explores the development, implementation, and potential benefits of SWBs for communities and the environment.
