Abstract

ABSTRACT The Android-Based Voting System is a mobile application designed to provide a secure, reliable, and user-friendly platform for conducting elections electronically using Android devices. The system aims to eliminate the challenges associated with traditional voting methods such as long queues, manual counting errors, and electoral malpractices. It allows registered users to log in securely, verify their identity, and cast their votes digitally from anywhere within the approved network area. The application uses a centralized database to store and manage voter information and results, ensuring data integrity and transparency. Security measures such as user authentication, data encryption, and real-time result monitoring are implemented to prevent fraud and unauthorized access. This system enhances efficiency, reduces cost, and promotes convenience and transparency in the voting process. The project demonstrates how mobile technology can be effectively utilized to strengthen democratic processes in modern societies.
